Biography

I am currently a second-year postdoctoral associate working at MIT Data Science Lab, advised by Prof. David Simchi-Levi. I am affiliated with the Laboratory for Information and Decision Systems (LIDS), and Institute for Data, Systems, and Society (IDSS) at MIT.

I obtained Ph.D. degree from Department of Systems Engineering and Engineering Management at The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2019, under the supervision of Prof. Xiting Gong. Prior to going to CUHK, I received B.S. degree in Mathematics from Kuang Yaming Honors School at Nanjing University in 2015.

I am broadly interested in stochastic modeling and optimization, statistical and machine learning, and data-driven decision making, and I mainly work on problems in operations management, revenue management, and supply chain management. My research strives to develop computationally efficient and theoretically near-optimal algorithms for complex stochastic systems arising from inventory control, dynamic pricing, and personalized decision making.
